How To Stir Fry Lotus Root with Lean Meat Ingredients: Garlic - minced Carrot - sliced and cut stick Local Lotus root - for stir frying Lean meat - either pork or chicken Bean curb paste (nam yu) - 1 pc Brown sugar - a pinch Soy sauce to taste Shao Hsing Hua Tiao Cooking wine - 1 tbp Method: Heat up the pan with oil. Add in garlic and fried for 20 seconds. Before garlic turn brown, put in lean meat. Once lean meat nearly 70% cooked toss in lotus root and carrot. Turn on medium heat , add bean curb paste, brown sugar and soy sauce. Keep on stirring, let all flavors get in and lastly sprinkle some cooking wine to enhance the meat flavor.
