My First Blueberry Chocolate Cake
 in year 2009




I remembered when my daughter was 2 years old then, I decided to bake my own cake to surprise her on her birthday. But I did not know how and where to start. So I consulted one of my college friend named - Fanny, who likes to bake cake just to make her family happy. Her explanation on the phone was not clear enough as I only talked to her for a few moments and I don't think as a beginner like me can manage to bake a cake!

Upon purchasing raw material on baking ingredients and baking utensils, I confronted a shop assistant where she taught me some basic knowledge every-baker-need-to-know steps.

So I finally came out with a horrible-looking cake - top with blueberry and very hard texture icing that force me to create ugly drawing for decoration. The cake inside tasted normal and a bit rough. I showed this cake to my mum and we had a good laugh!

That was the story of my first experience on baking a cake.

Laugh a much as you could. I don't mind - even I myself also made fun of my own cake...
