Chic Ku Teh (Halal)

From Bakuteh to Chikuteh Bakuteh comes from a chinese word which mean; Bak-kut-teh is a pork rib dish cooked in broth popularly served in Malaysia and Singapore, where there is a predominant Hokkien and Teo Chew community. But in my dish I modified it to put chicken drumstick instead of pork rib. Even though the smell is not as aromatic as "ba ku teh", but this is a more healthier version minus the oily fat comes from pork rib. This "chic ku teh" taste mild but still delicious for those who opt for healthier version. Ingredients: Add any type of taufoo according to your preference, mushroom from enoki, button mushroom to bunashimeiji. My Childhood Dish Steam Minced Tofu With Fish Paste This steam tofu dish reminded me of my childhood dish when I was in my primary school years. My mum would called this dish by the name "lou yao pin onn" (translated to chinese). Means everyone no matter young or old, toddler or senior folks, you will feel safe/secure to consume it as tofu dish is a very soft and smooth dish.  Easy to digest... Ingredients: chopped garlic chopped spring onion Ingredient (A): Fresh white tofu / square tofu - 1 large pc Fresh fish paste - either homemade or purchase at morning market - put your on desired amount sesame oil soy sauce a pinch of sea salt to taste a pinch of pepper to taste Method: Fried chopped garlic in a hot pan using cooking oil.  Fried until fragrance or turn golden brown.
